Chocolate is one of those foods I get cravings for often. When the chocolate mood strikes, there’s no stopping it. I’ve literally walked blocks just to find a chocolate cake (thank you, Crumbs)! Following this recipe, I was able to recreate my own individual lava cakes without all of the extra walking. The trickiest part about baking lava cakes is molding the chocolate balls that are placed in the middle of the batter. Allow yourself extra time to form the cooled chocolate into rounded (as much as possible) spheres – you’ll want to put them back into the fridge to re-harden after your warm fingers melt the outer layer. This dessert is delicious when served warm with vanilla ice cream. If you still have chocolate cravings after eating the lava cakes, give these brownies a try!
