Washington, D.C. is gorgeous. The marble buildings, the historic neighborhoods, the powerful landmarks – there are so many appealing factors to D.C. Not only are the sites and surroundings fantastic, but the food is equally impressive. One restaurant that is particularly memorable, especially for brunch, is Founding Farmers.
The restaurant is rustic and comfortable with cute decorations such as bird lights and sheep statues. For starters, I ordered beignets and the Farmers Cranberry Cucumber Cooler. I enjoyed the Traditional Eggs Benedict, which was nicely complimented by the fresh shredded leek hash browns. There are so many mouth-watering menu items, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I’m such a fan of this place, and the next time I’m in D.C., I will without a doubt be back for another satisfying meal.
If you’re in D.C. and have a sweet tooth, swing by Georgetown Cupcake for a midday treat.
