The Movie Collection: Snow Day Movies

As you’ve read about or seen on the news (or with your own eyes), the East Coast is experiencing a heavy snowstorm that has shut down many areas of the coast, New York City being one of them. For those living through this blizzard, this represents something we loved so much as children and teenagers: Snow Day. Your office may be closed for the day, public transportation is a no-go, and slipping and sliding all over the icy sidewalks is not ideal. If you decide to sleep in longer, do a little bit of work, and then watch movies for the rest of the day, these films will keep you warm as the blizzard rages outside. For snow days, these movies won’t let you down.

  1. I wish I had found this list earlier. We just had a snowstorm (albeit small in comparison to that of the Northeast) in North Carolina, and spent a couple days parked in front of the TV…Southerners don’t do snow that well 😛

I love your blog! I’m always looking for good movies to watch and am following you now. Stay warm! Spring is on the way!

  3. I love this list! Though it doesn’t snow where I live (Sydney) winter months are coming up and these are perfect movies to watch on a chilly Sunday morning.

I just discovered this blog and loving it!
