Spring 2015 Movies

spring movies

When you find yourself having a bad day, remember that it’s spring and you’ll feel better. It’s nice to cook while the sun is still out, and then settle in for the evening with a movie on. When the weather gets warmer, the walk to the theater will be much more enjoyable. Good thing, too, because there are some movies coming out this spring that I am excited about. These are the ones I’m willing to leave the house for:

1. The Age of Adaline – April 24, 2015

After an accident, a young woman stays 29-years-old for almost eight decades. Adaline Bowman stays the same while the world changes and those around her grow old. Loaded with drama and romance, I’m curious to see how they’ll portray the passing of time and how that affects her relationships.

2. Avengers: Age of Ultron – May 1, 2015

Truthfully, I really enjoyed the last Avengers movie. It’s fun to see superhero movies in theaters, especially when they all come together in one.

3. Pitch Perfect 2 – May 15, 2015

Another honest moment: I liked Pitch Perfect. I thought the songs were catchy and it was a light-hearted movie to watch after a long day.

4. Aloha – May 29, 2015

A killer cast (Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams) in an amazing location (Hawaii). When revisiting the site of his greatest career triumph, a military contractor falls for the Air Force watchdog assigned to him while also reconnecting with his ex. The movie was written and directed by Cameron Crowe, so I’m expecting great things.

5. Jurassic World – June 12, 2015

One word: dinosaurs.

What movies are you looking forward to watching this spring?
